haguren

haguren is a group location-sharing app designed for touring and driving groups. Members can share their real-time location with a group, propose and vote on destinations, coordinate schedules, chat with each other, and get notified when a group member is nearby.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information haguren collects, how it is used, and with whom it is shared.

Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign in, we use Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or Anonymous sign-in). We store a unique user ID (UID) associated with your account. We do not receive or store your Google/Apple account password.
• Profile information you provide: Display name, icon, and color you choose when joining or creating a group.
• Location data: When you turn on location sharing, your device's precise location is sent to Cloud Firestore and shown to other members of the same group in real time. Location sharing is off by default and can be turned off at any time. When no one else in the group is sharing, your location is not transmitted even if sharing is turned on.
• Group data: Group name and group password (used to control who can join a group), destination proposals, comments, votes, and schedule responses you submit.
• Chat messages: When you send messages in a group chat, the message content, sender name, and timestamp are stored in Cloud Firestore and visible to other members of the same group. Each group retains only the most recent 100 messages; older messages are automatically deleted. You can block another user to hide their messages from your own view.
• Advertising identifiers: This app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS, subject to your App Tracking Transparency choice, or the Android Advertising ID on Android) to provide and measure ads. On iOS, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent where required (e.g., EEA/UK users) before ads are personalized.
• Purchase information: If you subscribe to haguren Pro, purchase transactions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active/inactive) to unlock Premium features, but we do not receive your payment card details.

How Information Is Used

Location, group, and chat data are used solely to provide the core functionality of the app: showing group members' locations, destinations, schedules, and messages to other members of the same group, and providing turn-by-turn navigation. We do not sell your personal information.

These third parties may collect information used to identify you as described in their own privacy policies. The information collected by these third parties is used for providing and improving their services.

Subscriptions

haguren Pro can be unlocked either through an auto-renewing monthly subscription or a non-renewing 24-hour Premium Day Pass. Both unlock the same Premium features (such as proximity notifications and built-in navigation). Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

The monthly subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

The Premium Day Pass is a one-time, non-renewing purchase that grants Premium access for 24 hours from the time of purchase. It does not renew and does not require cancellation.

Purchases are subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable.

Data Retention

Group membership records, proposals, and schedule data are retained until you leave the group, the group is disbanded by its leader, or you delete your account data by contacting us. Location data sent while sharing is active is used to display real-time positions to group members and is not retained for purposes beyond providing this feature. Chat messages are retained up to the most recent 100 per group; older messages are automatically and permanently deleted.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

• Location sharing can be turned on or off at any time within the app.
• You can leave a group at any time from the group list on the login screen.
• You can block another user within a group chat to hide their messages from your view, and unblock them at any time.
• You can report inappropriate content or user behavior to the developer from the app's Settings screen.
• You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us at the email address below.

Data Deletion Requests (haguren)

haguren gives you two ways to delete your data, without needing to contact the developer:

1. Delete part of your data (leave a group): Open the group list on the login screen and choose to leave a group. This immediately deletes your membership record, schedule responses, sharing status, and the destination proposals you added in that group, while keeping your account itself active.
2. Delete your entire account: Open the app's Settings screen and tap "アカウントを削除" (Delete Account). This immediately deletes the data above for every group you have joined, then permanently deletes your Firebase account (UID) itself. This action cannot be undone. If you are the leader of a group with other members, you must disband that group first so other members are not affected.

If you are unable to use the app (e.g., it has been uninstalled), you can request the same deletion by emailing us at the address below with the account/group information you used.

What is deleted and how long it takes: Your membership data, schedule responses, sharing status, and proposals are deleted immediately (within seconds) from our database (Cloud Firestore) when you leave a group or delete your account. Comments or votes you made on other members' proposals may remain visible within a group's history if you leave without deleting that content first, since they are part of the shared group record. Chat messages you sent remain visible in a group's chat history (subject to the 100-message retention limit described above) unless you delete your entire account, at which point your sender name is disassociated from prior messages. Your Firebase Authentication account (UID) and locally cached device settings are deleted immediately upon account deletion. We do not maintain separate backups of this data, so once deleted it is not recoverable.
